Amartre Ent Presents Music Lovers: 2012

I had the pleasure of meeting Princess La Tremenda at the International Music Soul Summit in March 2010. She stood out among the many artists that I met that day. I would later begin to work with her in consulting and marketing her career. I would also later feature her on some music projects that my company Amartre’ Entertainment would produce.

Intoxicating, eclectic, and sexy are just a few words to describe Princess La Tremenda, an artist making her mark in the international music scene. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese she blends different languages perfectly together to create music that is truly universal. "Music is my way of communicating this world” is a mantra for Princess La Tremenda, where constantly moving around as a child, gave her an appreciation for diversity and an awareness of the bigger picture. Her sound, a sensual blend of traditional/new world grooves mixed with sultry vocals and intelligent lyrics, bends genres, but is always soulful. Unafraid to explore new avenues of music, she has combined her world-class experience with lively, entertaining, and interactive live shows. She has graced the stages with such artists as Los Hombres Calientes, Las Munequitos De Matanzas, Geronimo Santana and Victor Manuel and has performed around over the United States, Europe, and South America to crowds of over 500,000 people.

Her current offering "TREMENDA Vida" was recorded almost entirely in Brazil with local musicians capturing authentic and diverse musical styles. Tremenda VIDA fuses African, Latin, and American sounds to create a unique sound she has penned, Afro Latin Soul. That sound paired with her sensitive, yet honest lyrics that make an experience the whole world will enjoy.

DJ M SQUARED

Michael McPherson known as DJ M- Squared was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 6, 1983 and raised in Orlando, FL. DJ M-Squared father introduced him at an early age to the King of Pop Michael Jackson. With such a strong love and passion for Michael Jackson’s music, Mr. McPherson would later name DJ M-Squared, Michael McPherson. DJ M-Squared early stent in mixing music and DJ’ing started with mixes using dual cassette decks until he saved enough to purchase his first pair of Technics. DJ M-Squared would later attend Florida University where he would perfect his DJ skills spinning at most of the parties on campus. He then went on to attend Universal Music Group through a rigorous internship where he later received his degree in International Business. DJ M-Squared would later show his eye for fashion in working with companies such as Banana Republic and Armani. Ready to embark on a career as being a DJ, he decided to showcase his skills in the club scene as DJ M-Squared.

While attending the International Soul Summit in 2010, I had the pleasure of meeting him. While sitting down to talk with him, we would have extensive discussions about the love of music and where it’s going today. We appreciated each other’s brand so much we later collaborated together on a mix tape series: Amartre Entertainment presents Life and Soul Vibes mixed by DJ M-Squared. With his skill and our vision a masterpiece was created. An infusion of Jazz, Soul, and R&B with a hint of Hip Hop was created. These three installments would be loved by many music lovers and is still being played and downloaded today.

Some of DJ M-Squared accomplishments consists of: Being a finalist on Master of the Mix season 2, Winner of the 2010 USA Red Bull Thre3style National Championship, he performed at the NBA All Star Weekend Jam with Lil’ Wayne, Dwight Howard, Timbaland, Flo-Rida and many other celebrities. He headlines premiere venues across the globe such as The Elysee Montmartre in Paris, France, Heat Super Club in Montpellier, France. DJ M-Squared has traveled to Dubai to perform with Grammy Award winner Kelly Rowland, Diageo, and Maxim Magazine., Kelly Rowland as her Tour DJ, and spinning at private events for Tommy Hilfiger.

DJ M-Squared is a class act. Striving for excellence in his presentation and showmanship, his continued support of independent artist music, he is one of the top sought after DJ’s worldwide.
